The government were outraged by a lowly pirate thus endangering Britain’s already prickly relationship with the Mughals in India – hence the high bounty! Following this – and after only two years in the piracy game – Every vanished, never to be heard of again. Henry Avery was a real life character, having been a notorious English pirate back in his day, responsible for pulling off a heist worth £600k (£91.9 million in today’s money), thus earning himself a £1000 bounty (a huge sum in those days, over £150K) when he robbed a Mughal ship. Together with Nathan’s partner Victor Sullivan, they set off in search of long-lost treasure, namely the treasure of Henry Avery. Nathan is persuaded out of retirement by his supposedly long-dead brother, who reappears unexpectedly.
This game is Nathan Drake’s last outing (even though there will be more Uncharted games, it is to be hoped) and his send-off is… let us say, a fitting farewell. It is a third person game with some platformer features, and you will solve puzzles and use a variety of weapons, from melee combat, firearms and stealth to get what you need. The game is set some time after the last Uncharted (three) and involves long-dead brothers coming back to life, treasure hunters persuaded out of retirement and much more. Uncharted 4 for PC is an action adventure game and the fourth in the Uncharted series.
